The daughter of Lola Fern and the late Arthur Carl Cook, Alexandra spent her formative years in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with her elder sisters Victoria and Samantha. After finishing high school in 1998, she went on to earn advanced degrees in finance and business. Alexandra currently serves as the chief financial officer at a Kansas City based nonprofit that helps people with developmental and intellectual disabilities across the metro area. The Cook family is overjoyed to welcome Ryan as a member, and can't wait to shower Austin, Arlo, and Madelyn with love.

Ryan attended and graduated from Raytown High School in 1993. He was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. He has an elder sister, Renata Mogilnicki, and has three children of his own. Austin Henley is his eldest son, 26, whom he shares with Jenny Fowler. His younger son is Arlo Henley, 13, whom along with his daughter Madelyn Henley, 11, he shares with Robin Phillips Henley. Ryan has been a postal carrier in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, for the past twenty-three years. His parents, Elvin and Brenda Henley, will be celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary in August and helped him become the man he is today.

Angela was born in Kentucky and spent the majority of her childhood living in Germany with her parents who are US Air Force veterans. Angela is a proud dog mom, and retired roller derby girl. #RIPTakedownTrixie. She met Alexandra not long after settling in Kansas City in 2015. Her favorite times with the couple are game nights, and the way Alex and Ryan interact and have fun together.

Austin is Ryan’s first born, and grew up in Gardner, KS. Austin is a senior software developer in Lees Summit, Mo. He enjoys playing video games, collecting vinyl records, and using his 3D printer to make gifts for his family and friends.
